Personal Products Co. menarche, menstruation & puberty booklet (maker
of Modess menstrual napkins & tampons,
among others)
For boys: a book about girls (1981, revised
1/87), complete
Not only girls needed to know about menstruation, boys did too. This
booklet gives a sympathetic account of Women's Mysteries to boys although
knowing the lads - I was one once - it didn't stop all the snickering.
The only way to lessen it is to openly and often
talk about menstruation past the point people want to hear. Pretty
soon guys will be running away with their hands over their ears.
Mystery creates curiosity. Why do you think I
created this museum?
