Kotex Very
Personally Yours
puberty & menstruation booklet, 1961
(revised 1972?) (complete)
Although
this booklet bears a copyright
of 1961, it promotes Kotex's New
Freedom pad, which appeared in
the early 1970s. That date
agrees with the "872" that
appears on the back cover so I
suspect Kotex wanted to make
sure its new super-duper beltless pad appeared before
girls' eyes in an apparently
revised edition,
This
booklet bears similarities in
style with two other editions of
the booklet (1948
& the cover of the 1981
booklet.)
In spite of this being
PERSONALLY yours, the cover is impersonal
unlike some
other Kotex booklets.
See two more versions of the
booklet: 1948
& the cover of the 1981
booklet.

The front cover of the two-color
booklet, which measures
5 x 6 3/4" (12.7 x 17.1 cm). The
back cover is blank
except for "VPY 872" in the lower
left corner, which probably
indicates a revised
edition in 1972.
