"Die Menstruation," excerpts from
the o.b. tampon, menstruation &
puberty booklet for girls, 1977,
Germany
The text and photos don't hold back
in explaining anatomy.
The critical phrase for the tampon
manufacturer is "Young girls can use
tampons because the hymen is not a
stiff ring but a soft stretchable fold
of membrane at the entrance to the
vagina."
A Dutchman kindly sent these
scans.
