How shall I tell my daughter?
Puberty booklet about girls for their mothers
(Personal Products Company, 1968, U.S.A.)
Explains menstruation, adolescence, tampons, girls' growth, menstrual pads,
& it promotes Modess menstrual
napkins, Meds tampons, Vee-Form, Panty-Kini,
sanitary napkin belts,
special panties,
sanitary brief,
underwear
Except for the revised few pages at the end, this booklet is almost
identical to the 1963 edition.
I suspect the same artist who illustrated
this illustrated Strictly Feminine (1969), also
from Personal Products.
The paintings are very atmospheric and show only white,
middle-class girls and their (white) mothers. Other ethnic groups
would come later.
