Note that the vulva is not named, something
I think most girls would like to put a decent name to. After all, it's what
they can see! Generations of companies call
it the "outer vaginal area," which really means the lower part
of the vagina, the tube itself, not the labia, etc., outside the body.
And pubic hair is missing.
I wonder if both were thought to be too visible and sexual to deal with?
I can hear a hapless teacher trying explain what a vulva is, and what it
consists of. But people tell me that kids didn't ask such questions, being
even more embarrassed than the teachers.
I believe many times the students - the girls, not the boys, of course
- just took the booklets from the teacher, who asked them to read them.
Any questions? Of course not.
