(see Cellucotton in a
Kotex tampon), Kimberly-Clark's
trademarked name for the absorbent wadding
[mentioned on p. 20],
for use as a substitute
for cotton in surgical dressings. .

"The new cellulose wadding line was
destined to grow into dozens of items with
such famous names as Kimpak, Kimsul, Kleenex, Kotex, Delsey, and
Sanek. Many of
these are marketed through drug store and
other channels outside the paper trade, for
retail sale to to individual or commercial
customers. These
products respond to more intensive
merchandising and advertising methods than
usually pay in selling printing, wrapping,
and other standard types of paper.
