Below: Pp. 13-16. See ads for Kurb tablets. As you donor of the scans said, it's rare to
see pregnancy mentioned in a menstruation booklet (at right).
It's probably because women were moving in huge numbers into jobs for the
first time and needed to know what the law was so as not to be exploited.

the 1930s) and read the story of the nurses
during World
War I who "discovered" Kotex. The illustration at right shows
pads that dwarf the small pads available today.
