Below: I think the Indian looks very Caucasian.
The other woman has the same low forehead
of the only other woman pictured in the booklet.
Maybe it's the hairdo. They remind me of the
woman shushing us on the Secret tampon box.
These women look more, um, acceptable, but I doubt
they had the family burdens of the
Wine of Cardui ladies.
Emmenagogues are substances that stimulate menstruation.
