Dale lubricated menstrual tampons
(1930s-1940s?, U.S.A.)
Instructions enlarged: the
doctor - instructions (general)
The doctor seems to wear an
old-fashioned collar with his bow tie,
which indicates to me that this might
stem from the 1930s.
He seems a bit distracted, having
forgotten where to put his
stethoscope; maybe he's thinking about
tampons.
"Um, Doctor, I'm behind you and I'm
getting cold!"
See a Midol
doctor immensely enjoying his
job.

The Procter & Gamble company kindly
donated these tampons to the museum, part of a
large gift.
