Marie Claire magazine
(Italian edition) featured several of the
above artists in an article
about this museum and menstruation in 2003.
The newspaper Corriere della Sera (Io Donna
magazine) (Milan, Italy) and the magazine

The second quilt
,"The Hands Predict the Future,"
reflects the late teen years of the
artist. This is a time when
sexuality is a reality and
expectations are becoming more
important and planned for. All the
hands in the quilt are the hands of
real women who had them "read" and
were told they would have one or
more children. All the women are
infertile. In the central area is
information about my relatively
large, and certainly fertile,
family. The colour red obviously has
connotations with menstrual blood.
