See an exhibit that celebrated the 50th anniversary of the SCA Mølnlycke company.
Tour the former museum in Harry Finley's house.
See an Italian washable pad, probably from the 1890s (and it looks much cooler than the ones above!) - See contemporary washable pads.

Some early history of the Scandinavian tampon
and menstrual pad company SCA Mølnlycke

Workers in the SABA company put menstrual pads into bags, probably in the 1950s. I hope it's 9:40 in the morning, not evening!

I want to thank Marethe Slensvik of the SCA Mølnlycke company in Norway for this photograph and information, and for much material and information about the company's menstruation exhibit in Norway!

NEXT: a SABA advertisement from the late 1950s or early 1960s - one of the demonstration busses and two ads from the 1950s - the first factory (and the beginning of this report)
