Ad for "As One Girl To Another" (Kotex, in The American Girl magazine, April 1943)

The second Kotex booklet for girls explaining menstruation, "As One Girl To Another," succeeded "Marjorie May's Twelfth Birthday," produced from 1928 to the late 1930s. It replaced the formality of Marjorie May with the colloquial speech of the 'forties; the design reflected this informality.
